Everywhere you turn, there it is. Go Green. Save the Planet. Stop global warming. Lately, our environment seems to get more focus than the economy. All of a sudden, it’s like someone woke up and realized our natural resources aren’t going to last forever. It looks like the media has finally decided the health of the planet merits some attention and renewable energy may warrant a closer look.
It may be difficult for us to imagine how the earth which appears to us to be a solid mass of complexly interrelated parts, can have an intentionality to purify and can be undergoing a process we normally associate with human beings on a spiritual path. And even if it is true of the planetary body, we may well wonder how this happens and how it can affect weather patterns.
Earth is in trouble and we are on the brink of doing irreversible damage. It seems like everywhere you look these days, people are finally waking up to the fact that something has to be done NOW. We are all being asked to do our part now, because if we don’t, our children and grandchildren will suffer enormous consequences
